Kits

We have a Crochet Starter Kit, mainly for the beginner, which contains 5 patterns 001, 004, 005, 006 and 009), plenty of appropriate yarns and a 1.25mm crochet hook.

There are also several Kits for more experienced crochet workers, including a kit to turn a plain 12th scale wooden cot into a beautiful cotton draped cot (including a brass rod for support)

Knitting Kits

We have 2 Knitting Kits at present. If it is your first attempt at Mini Knitting, the blanket pattern is an excellent choice.
It consists of two patterns for Pram Blankets with matching pillows, 2 balls of 2/16 mercerised cotton thread, and a pair of knitting needles. 2 balls of 2/16 mercerised cotton thread, and a pair of knitting needles. For the more experienced is a Kit to make three 2inch toys. This kit contains a ball each of the colours required, and patterns for all three toys.

Plastic Canvas Kits

Even if you have not tried working with plastic canvas before, I think you will find it very easy and relaxing.

We use canvas with 14hpi (holes per inch) for the Tote Bags and 10hpi for the other items

We have several Plastic Canvas Kits to make such things as Linen Baskets, Rubbish Bins and Blanket Boxes, which resembles basketwork.
Each kit consists of cut plastic mesh pieces, heavy cotton thread, needle and full, easy to follow instructions, using tent stitch (or half-cross stitch).

Small Accessory Kits

A recent addition to our website catalogue is our 1:12th scale Small Accessory Kits to make such items a Tray of Perfume, Pot of Flowers, and Small Items for your Baby.  All kits include all components required to make each item, all you need to complete is glue and scissors.
